Rooted in Hard Work. Engineered for Legacy

CT TerraMach Engineering Solutions isn’t just another engineering company, it’s the culmination of a journey that began in a rural village, shaped by sacrifice, sharpened by setbacks, and sustained by a relentless belief in hard work, faith, and family.

Founded by Costar Takawira—a self-made entrepreneur, mentor, and builder of institutions—the company embodies a simple truth: great things can rise from humble beginnings. Guided by the values instilled by his late mother and a lifetime of learning from both success and failure (including the hard lessons of Chameco), Costar built CT TerraMach not just to serve clients, but to create something that lasts beyond him.

Today, CT TerraMach stands as a testament to African ingenuity, discipline, and resilience in a sector once dominated by others. From our base in Benoni, South Africa, we deliver precision engineering, industrial solutions, and strategic infrastructure services—always with integrity, accountability, and long-term vision.

“We operate differently, by design”

More Than Business—We Build People

While we fabricate machines and erect structures, our deepest investments are in human potential through sponsoring rural students via academic and athletic scholarships to the U.S., supporting widows and youth through community prize-giving initiatives, partnering with local sports teams like Shabanie Football Club to keep dreams alive, and mentoring young entrepreneurs to avoid the pitfalls we once faced, because for us engineering isn’t just about metal and mechanics,it’s about moving people forward.

Our Mission

To deliver world-class engineering and infrastructure solutions across Africa and beyond—while empowering the next generation of African leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers through mentorship, opportunity, and ethical enterprise.

Our Vision

Expand CT TerraMach across key African markets and the UK, diversify into construction and medical supply chains through strategic partnerships with manufacturers in India and China, institutionalize operations so the business runs seamlessly without founder dependency, and leave a blueprint for sustainable African entrepreneurship that others can follow.

Our Philosophy

We operate with structured governance where every financial decision follows disciplined protocols, including director allowances after stabilization, dividends declared by board resolution on a bi-annual or annual cycle, and capital investments treated as formal director loans with a clear 8% annual return expectation, while maintaining partnership integrity by prioritising long-term trust through confidentiality, non-circumvention, and a first right of refusal for existing partners, keeping legacy over ego by measuring success in people developed, communities uplifted, and systems that endure toward generational wealth, and grounding everything in faith and gratitude through daily prayerful support and humility in the journey from rural classrooms to boardrooms shaping Africa’s industrial future.
